From Bob Lewis N8GU, FMARC POTA Chair:

A question arose recently about being able to use one’s personal callsign in addition to the club callsign to log an additional POTA contact?  The answer is no.  Once you become a participant in the FMARC club activation the only callsign that can be given is the club callsign.  Here is the language directly from the POTA admins regarding club activation rules:
What constitutes a club activation?
Everyone exclusively uses the club callsign on air, not their personal callsigns, during a club activation, like Field Day.
Each person participating in a FMARC POTA activation who is registered with the POTA program does get personal credit for the activation even though they used the W4LX callsign.  That is why it is important not to forget to fill in the blank where the logging program asks who is the OPERATOR.  The operator is the one making the contact even though they used the W4LX station callsign.  In summary, both the club and the operator get credit for a contact.

I encourage those of you who have never participated in one of our POTA events to give it a try.
