Any newly-licensed ham who joins the FMARC will receive a complimentary membership for the balance of that calendar year. “Newly licensed” shall be defined as an amateur operator who has successfully tested in an FCC license exam session conducted by a VE team sponsored by the Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club, and who did not hold a valid amateur radio license at the time of such testing.
